Requirements Review and Needs Analysis

These services are intended to provide complete appraisal of current user practices, policies and procedures. The goal of the review and analysis is to provide the user with a survey of current operations, while providing insight into the impact of the soon-to-be implemented Eldorado software solution(s).

Senior Eldorado staff consultants who provide these services have years of hands-on industry knowledge and experience. They work closely with client management and staff to complete their analysis, producing a written recommendation report that details their findings. The insight gleaned from this analysis serves as the framework for synchronizing and streamlining workflow with Eldorado system capabilities and performance.

Extensive User Training

A critical component of success in the implementation of any system is training. Eldorado offers extensive training to help users become productive quickly. Users are given a complete review of their system. Each module is explained and accompanied by detailed user documentation. Eldorado training is the surest way to protect your investment while maximizing the productivity of your claims and operations personnel.

Benefit Plan and Eligibility Setup Services

Accelerated implementation is attained through Eldorado benefit plan and eligibility setup services. An implementation team builds group benefit plans and monitors testing and acceptance by the user. In addition, Eldorado personnel can input eligible employees and their dependents for each group when automatic conversion is not warranted.

Data Conversion Services

Data conversion is a paramount part of most system implementations. Converting from an existing system may be automatic, manual or a combination of the two. Because no two conversions are exactly alike, it is important that the system conversions be properly planned and executed. Eldorado specialists ensure that safeguards are employed to protect the accuracy and integrity of the data conversion. Realistic time frames are determined and schedules published.

Claims Outsourcing Services

Eldorado offers a cafeteria of claims outsourcing services. Payers can choose from simple claims data entry to claims payments to total claims outsourcing, including customer service.

Client-Specific Enhancement Services

Unique system requirements and/or functionality not available on Eldorado’s standard systems are provided to clients through enhancement services with a thorough requirements analysis and proposed solution. This document is submitted to the client along with a detailed functional specification and cost estimate. Once approved, the specification serves as the basis for programming the enhancement. Clients are regularly updated on progress, Eldorado and client personnel jointly perform installation and testing.

Enhancement services have helped a number of Eldorado clients achieve critical system capability. Such system enhancements give Eldorado clients a competitive edge while increasing the value of services to their customers.

Technical Review

One of the unique advantages of the Eldorado system is its portability across platforms. The Eldorado system runs on Windows NT, Novell, and virtually any UNIX platform, including Sun Solaris, IBM RS 6000 AIX, HP, DG, and many others.

The Eldorado system is written in a combination of languages including DB/C and Java. The system is ODBC compliant.
