Companies collaborate to create and market integrated claims processing software and pharmacy benefit management services to insurers
Phoenix, Ariz. – Sept. 23, 2009 – Eldorado Computing, Inc. (ELDORADO), a leading provider of health benefit and claims management platforms, and WellDyneRx Inc., a national pharmacy benefits management (PBM) company, announced today that they are collaborating to create and market integrated claims processing software and PBM services to payers.
Under the alliance, ELDORADO will integrate its flagship Javelina™ browser-based claims and benefit management platform with WellDyneRx’s PBM services. ELDORADO and WellDyneRx will offer Javelina and PBM services to their respective clients, including third-party administrators, health plans unions and self insured employers.
Javelina, which harnesses Java, open source, service-oriented architecture and other next-generation technologies, gives insurers a competitive edge by helping them analyze and manage their business more efficiently. The solution also facilitates improved cost reporting, and plan design and administration.
